Who We Are…
Pip Henderson
Pip trained with West End Director Martin Landau, at the Purcell School of Music and the Circus UK training school. After touring the country with various children’s theatre companies and a season as Principal Boy in Panto, she ran away to join “Circus Senso” (Britain’s foremost non-animal circus) for a national tour as an acrobat (during which time she mastered such skills as juggling and fire-eating!!). She has made guest appearances with “Gwent Ballet Theatre” and with acappella artistes “The Frigidaires” and has completed tours and residencies nationally with productions including “Hamlet” (Gertrude), “The Skin of Our Teeth” (Sabina), Bodger & Badger’s “Mad Mash One” (Inspector Horse), and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (Puck) as well as several more seasons in Panto!! Pip is one third of up and coming comedy trio “Melons a Trois” and can be regularly spotted performing with satirical comedy group “The Treason Show”. She also has a successful fire act (’Burning Passions’), is a founder member of “Wikwok Children’s Theatre” and has been seen working both as a performance artiste for the Rock band “IF” and as a clown called “Pippolini”! Pip’s T.V. credits include appearances in “Sixth Sense” (BBC2), “Cursed & Blessed” (GenreVision) and “The Greatest Show on Earth” (Channel 4) as well as various adverts and pop promos. Film work includes “Mirror Image” (Phoenix Pictures), “The Powder Room” (Spektraphonics Productions) & “The Man with 3 Hats” (First Framework) in which she can be seen breathing 30 foot plumes of fire! Pip could most recently be seen on the big screen, covered in blood and chasing Robert Carlyle down a riverbank in Danny Boyle’s latest film “28 Weeks Later” (Fox Atomic) – She’s the one in the dress!! Pip also enjoys a hectic teaching schedule! She is a Director of theatrecenter, Associate Director of Earwig Productions Theatre Summer School and Head Of Drama at the Drusilla Duffill Theatre School, Burgess Hill.
